“I am writing you a quick note in regards to your optician at the Salem VA, Jane.  As a Marine, I always notice anyone that treats Vets with respect. I do not expect anyone to roll out the red carpet. It’s nice when someone is genuine in the appreciation for what we have endured. Your employee gave me that today.  Today was extremely busy but you would not have known this watching Jane. She spent time to help the veterans that needed help. I asked her how much would it cost me to fix. She smiled and fixed the bridge on my glasses in less than 3 minutes. She was pleasant, knew her job and took time to thank me for my service”
